Roanoke Go Fest

  • Downtown Roanoke Roanoke, VA United States (map)

The Anthem GO Outside Festival is your official invitation to get outside! This free, three-day festival has everything from lumberjacks to bmx bikes, to stand-up paddleboards, to climbing, to camping and so much more.

Come watch world-class films, professional athletes and influential speakers. Try new outdoor activities and demo equipment from top outdoor brands. Race for gear, beer, and glory. And, live it up by connecting with outdoor businesses, organizations, and clubs who all exist just to get you outside! Do it all with great food, free live music, and endless opportunities to dance and play.

Our schedule is constantly growing and will be jam-packed with more than anyone could ever fit into one weekend. So, might we suggest you take our approach and "Wander, Explore, Discover."

A few things you should know:
Camping has returned to GO Fest, thanks to Roanoke County Parks, Recreation, and Tourism. There will be a shuttle connecting the festival to camping. Be sure to keep an eye out for Explore Park camping options coming out early September.

This festival is all about the outdoors, and so donations and the proceeds from beverages, merchandise, and race registrations will all go into Project Outside. This fund was created in 2020 to champion local outdoor maintenance and access projects. To date, more than $150,000 has been awarded to 24 regional projects.

Volunteers make everything happen! This festival is not possible without the amazing folks who sign up to give a few hours pouring beer, helping out with activities, keeping the grounds clean, and lots of other tasks. To say thanks, we're gifting every volunteer an Eno hammock. See options for volunteering below.
